EVENTS AT THE INN
We are a summer, outdoor venue and host and a small number of events each year - generally between June 15th and September 15th. The Inn has a maximum capacity for up to 60 guests (not including your vendors)* for outdoor events unless otherwise stated. The Inn's reception room can accommodate up to 12 guests (COVID-19 Event Rules allowing). NOTE: BC Government Order for Gatherings and Events (effective June 30, 2021).
Events at the Inn include:
Elopements (up to 10 guests) and Micro-Weddings (up to 25 guests)
Weddings (up to 60 guests)
Event Planning/Coordination or Catering:
We love being an event venue and gladly leave the real work up to the experts. As such, we don't provide event planning/coordination or catering services--but check out our favourite and most recommended local event designers and vendors under the Vendors tab. To ensure your event runs smoothly, we require an event planner/coordinator onsite for your event. Access to the kitchen is limited to professional caterers.
We don't provide rental items, such as tents, tables or chairs, or place settings, for outdoor events. If you need recommendations for vendors, please check out those listed in the Vendors tab. For wedding ceremonies, we do have a simple wooden arbour available for use.
Being a hobby farm located in the Agricultural Land Reserve, outdoor wedding events here generally start and end a bit earlier. Use of an amplified PA and all music/entertainment must conclude by 11:00 PM as required by the Squamish-Lillooet Regional District Noise Control Bylaws.
Depending on the type and timing of the event you're looking to hold, accommodations (the Inn's guest suites) may be included in the package. There are also plenty of other accommodations nearby, including B&Bs, Airbnbs and other short-term vacation rentals. We're happy to provide recommendations.
Event Insurance (general liability) is required for all weddings and larger events being held on the property. Cancellation insurance is highly recommended.
Parking is available on-site for up to 15 cars. Booking a shuttle service is encouraged, especially for larger groups. An option to consider: Whistler VIP
Events and related activities held on the property must comply with the current BC Centre for Disease Control Guidelines for Event Planning (http://www.bccdc.ca/health-info/diseases-conditions/covid-19/event-planning) for the date(s) of the event. No exceptions will be considered.
