COVID-19 Updates

BC has now entered Step 3 of BC's Restart Plan, meaning that travel to and through the province by Canadians is now encouraged!

 

Your safety and comfort during your stay are important to us. We continue to monitor the guidelines and recommendations put forward by the Government of Canada, the Provincial Health Authority, and the BC Centre for Disease Control.

 

To responsibly and safely care for our guests and our community, here is what you can expect:

  • As your hosts, we are both fully vaccinated and follow recommended hand hygiene/sanitization guidelines. We also provide hand sanitizer at various locations on the property.

  • We follow the Government of BC--COVID-19 Guidance for the Hotel Sector Environmental Cleaning Standards in the cleaning and maintaining rooms between guests. This includes:

    • Sanitizing linens and kitchen appliances, dishes, glassware, and utensils;

    • The use of approved disinfecting products;

    • Disinfecting of all surfaces, including high-touch areas such as tables, chairs, handles, doorknobs, light switches; and

    • Ensuring a minimum of 24-hours between guest bookings.

  • Housekeeping services are provided for stays of 5 days or longer and only upon request. However, should you need anything during your stay, such as fresh towels, or if you would like trash taken away, we will gladly assist while observing COVID-19/communicable disease safety protocols.

 

  • All reservations have a contactless check-in/check-out process to minimize the need for close interaction with us. Payments for stays are processed via a contact-free online payment system.

  • All guest suites have private in-suite kitchenettes (with refrigerator, microwave, Keurig coffee maker, kettle, dishes, glassware, flatware, wine/bottle opener, etc.), stocked with coffee/tea, cream, and sweetener.

 

  • We ask that guests join us in maintaining physical distancing (2 meters/6 feet) practices for the well-being and comfort of all guests while staying at the Inn.

  • If a guest becomes ill while staying at the Inn, we ask that they call *811 immediately for guidance from the BC's Public Health Services.

We ask that guests check themselves for symptoms before their arrival, and if not well, cancel their reservation without hesitation. This includes if you have, or recently had, any symptoms of COVID-19 or contact with someone diagnosed with COVID-19. We will be flexible when it comes to cancellations due to illness or exposure. If you wish or need to change a reservation, give us a call or pop us an email.

The Pemberton community is highly committed to keeping its people safe and healthy. If you venture out while visiting, please bring your mask and be prepared to practice social distancing guidelines as requested by its various businesses and establishments. We definitely encourage calling ahead and visiting websites or social media channels for the latest information on current business hours and social distancing procedures.
